Okay, so I am up super late, wired, and nowhere near sleep.
I dyed my hair dark brown, so dark, it looks black. And it may well be black, like on the ends.
Watching Jersey Shore reunion. So boring. I’m laying in bed, next to my baby. I’m also texting my hubby. I miss him. He’s only been gone two hours, but we are attached at the hip most of the time. I’m so lucky he is...

Lissa Lately...
I finally bought the jumperoo and put it together super quick, and it was really easy. I like it and so does Aubrey. Woohoo!

Last night, Aubrey and I were playing and she was in her tummy. She doesn’t usually like tummy time, and squalls in protest after a few minutes. This wasn’t much different. This time, I was standing over her and looking at her upside down, so she was smiling then burying her head.
Then outta nowhere she made her spitting before bursting into tears face, and farted.
Tummy time...

Aubrey likes TV.
She’s been watching it for a while. I am like “oh no…” and also breathing a sigh of relief like “maybe I’ll be able to get more stuff done now?” -with a hint of guilt for the last one. ;)
I want her to learn things early, and at least it’s educational. I just don’t want her to feel like she needs things like that for...

Ahh
Something decided itself tonight. I was not ready for bed, and at about 10pm when Daddy leaves, she certainly is. I thought, maybe if I lay with the baby in the bed for a bit until she showed drowsiness she would sleep, and I could sneak out and stay up a while longer. However, for some reason, this doesn’t work. So I sadly laid Aubrey in her crib, knowing I wouldn’t get to snuggle her...

Night Owl (Tonight)
Trying to think about what I am doing. I have Aubrey in her swing and I am wide awake, cleaning the house… when we normally would have been asleep for the last two hours together in bed.
I hope 1) I don’t screw up her sleep schedule, 2) she doesn’t take it out on me tomorrow.
She’s definitely not liking this. She’s cranky and having trouble napping. Well, no wonder.

Oh no...
Sitting here with Aubrey playing with a new toy, a puppy that sings and teaches her colors and body parts, and she starts crying. It was cute and sad all at once. She was a little overstimulated, so she’s going down for a nap now.
I love that baby sososo much. :)

Say Mama
So tonight R says he wants to feed the baby when he gets home. He went out and on his way home picked up formula because we’re out. I knew Aubrey was getting hungry and didn’t want her to get upset, so I fed her a little bit for a few minutes. She was not happy when I took her off, but I knew she would be eating soon.
After a little drama, she got to eEat, but not before it...
It’s so bittersweet how Aubrey will stop crying for me when she’s still upset. I hate hearing her cry more than any noise in this world.

Big baby
Got the house semi-clean, the bathroom reeks of bleach, and the baby is happily swinging in her new Snug a bunny swing. Things here are good!
Hubs is going to get Sonic (yum!), so I am chillin and contemplating what else is going to get done tonight (perhaps just that…).
We got the baby a new swing because our first one was battery powered only, creaked, and wasn’t very comfy seeming...

Aubrey and I had a good day today hanging out while daddy slept. We went to sushi when he got up and she got to hang with her grandparents. I have to still pick her up actually.
I went to see her and grandpa had her on his chest and she was actually sitting up. I think I’ve been doing it wrong.
She talks in baby talk constantly or like if you talk to her, and she’s become somewhat...
The baby is napping in her crib. It’s the “first” time. She has slept in it before, but not for longer than an hour. It would be so nice to beat that!
I hope daddy doesn’t get woken up if she does though…
